The 2017 ATA Trade Show is much more than just a trade show. It is an event that is a true experience. There will be concerts, seminars, elaborate product unveilings, and – of course – celebrity sightings.
Easton Corbin is a bowhunter and conservationist, working with groups like the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation – this guy cares about conservation. However, most people know him for his hit songs “Lovin’ You Is Fun” and “A Little More Country Than That.”
Craig Morgan is a country boy’s renaissance man: he is a bowhunter, soldier, sheriff’s deputy, EMT, adventurer, motocross racer, farmer, family man, and country music star.
In the country music world he is known for his hit singles “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” “International Harvester,” and “Bonfire.”
U.S. Olympic Archery Team
The men’s U.S. Olympic Archery Team earned a historic silver medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games this past summer, and they’re kicking off 2017 at the ATA Trade Show. The team includes 2016 individual Olympic bronze medalist Brady Ellison, who is fresh off a record-breaking start to the indoor archery season. Ellison set a new indoor archery world record this winter shooting a near perfect 598 out of 600 points.
Eva and Jim Shockey
Jim Shockey and his daughter Eva are bowhunting royalty. Jim is an author, producer, outfitter, an Honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Canadian Armed Forces, and an accomplished bowhunter. Eva is the first woman in 30 years to be on the cover of Field and Stream magazine, is a great bowhunting ambassador and role model, and has her own line of bows through Bowtech.
Backcountry bowhunting is an increasingly popular trend. Backcountry bowhunters carry everything they need to survive a week-long hunt deep into the mountains, so it’s like backpacking and bowhunting combined. Cameron Hanes has been a strong advocate of getting fit and hunting in the backcounty. Cam is an author, fitness guru, and one of the best western hunters. His podcast “Keep Hammering with Cameron Hanes” is ranked in the top 10 on iTunes. In addition to being a bowhunter and ambassador to the sport, Hanes is also an ultra-marathon runner, and completed the bigfoot 200-mile race in 2016 at the age of 48.
Levi and Samantha Morgan
There are only a few people who have the privilege of making a living shooting a bow and arrow, and Levi and Samantha Morgan are part of that elite club. Levi has won a record-smashing 10 straight Archery Shooters Association Shooter of the Year awards, 8 World Championships, 40 National Championships, 3 Triple Crowns, and 10 World Records. Samantha Morgan is a multiple time world champion and co-host of their TV show “Name the Game.”
Lee and Tiffany Lakosky
Lee and Tiffany are known for their hit show “The Crush” where they chronicle their life on the farm, hunting and family. They live in the big buck state of Iowa where they carefully manage their property to produce world class whitetails.
Mark “Oz” Geist fought in the Battle of Benghazi where he heroically fought to save the lives of Americans at the CIA Annex. Mark co-authored the best-selling book “13 Hours,” which chronicled the events at the Battle of Benghazi. Mark will be sharing his story at the 2017 ATA Show.
Chuck Adams is a living legend and is the first person to harvest all 29 North American big game species with a bow. Harvesting a single world-record animal would be an accomplishment, but Chuck has harvested five world-record animals. Chuck is also one of the most famous outdoor writers of all time, and is known for his captivating hunting stories.
Chad Mendes, the No. 5 ranked UFC featherweight fighter in the world, is equally at home in the woods as he is in the octagon. When he’s not preparing for a big fight, Mendes works as a hunting guide. Chad offers guided hunts throughout the country for a variety of species.
