“Big Game”

About: Oskari, 13, must rescue the U.S. president (Samuel L. Jackson) after Air Force One is shot down and lands near his campsite. Will the young archer save the POTUS?

“The Chronicles of Narnia”

About: Based on the novel series by C.S. Lewis, this film follows four siblings from England to Narnia, a fantasy land. The four ally with King Aslan, a lion, against the White Witch to rid Narnia of eternal winter. Watch bow-wielding Susan fight alongside her siblings – Lucy, Edmund and Peter – in this must-see classic.

Watch all three movies in the “Narnia” series: “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe,” “Prince Caspian,” and “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.”

“The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit”

Follow the hobbit Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood) and Legolas to Middle-earth on a quest to destroy the One Ring and its maker, the Dark Lord. But beware the “oliphaunt.” Legolas and his sharp-shooting skills rush to the rescue!

“Avatar”

About: This sci-fi film, directed by James Cameron, transports viewers to the lush, alien world of Pandora, home of the coveted natural resource unobtanium and the primitive yet highly evolved Na’vi. For Dr. Grace Augustine (Sigourney Weaver) and her fellow American scientists to survive the planet’s poisonous environment and safely mine unobtanium, they must link with Na’vi hybrid bodies, called Avatars.

Na’vi native Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) soon finds herself in a battle against American Avatar turned love interest Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and his American team to save her people’s “Hometree” and preserve the planet’s unobtanium.

“Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves”

About: Kevin Costner stars in this live-action classic as archer and Nottingham do-gooder Robin of Locksley, also known as “Robin Hood.” The dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham takes Robin Hood prisoner. With help from fellow prisoner Azeem (Morgan Freeman), Robin Hood escapes and returns to England, only to find the sheriff has killed his father and ravaged his estate. Robin and Azeem join forces with outlaws Little John (Nick Brimble) and Will Scarlett (Christian Slater) to save the kingdom from the sheriff’s villainy. And with a bow and arrow, no doubt!

“Timeline”
