Luke Bryan Challenges Justin
Moore to Archery Smackdown Luke Bryan Challenges Justin Moore to Archery Smackdown

On Monday Luke Bryan took to Twitter and released an archery challenge, exclaiming he wanted to “Play It Again.” Fellow country artist Justin Moore picked up that arrow and shot it right back. The result? An archery challenge of bull’s-eye proportions.

Luke Bryan has an extensive trophy collection. One trophy he doesn’t have? The ACM and Cabela’s Great Outdoors Archery Event trophy. Luke Bryan competed in the event both in 2013 and 2014. Last year, #TeamLuke fell to #TeamMoore 226-280, and Luke Bryan is looking for redemption.

On Monday afternoon, the country superstar of Entertainer-of-the-Year fame took to twitter to issue an archery challenge to fellow country artist Justin Moore.

Within three hours, Cabela’s and the Academy of Country Music organized an archery showdown to take place the same weekend of the ACM Awards.

After last year’s loss to Justin Moore, Bryan joked with People magazine that he was going to recruit his team. “And I’m going to put my team on hotel lockdown like they do college kids, (with an) 11 p.m. curfew for everyone,” Bryan said.

Will Lee Brice, Tyler Farr and Florida Georgia Line duo Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley make the #TeamLuke roster for the second year in a row? Or will smooth-talking Luke steal Thomas Rhett, Brantley Gilbert and Chase Rice from #TeamJustin? Perhaps he’ll even recruit fellow ACM Awards host Blake Shelton for the roster. Time will tell.

One thing’s for certain, this is an archery event you don’t want to miss. Archery and country music? Yes, please! Check out the event details here.

Tune in to CBS on April 19 to see Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton co-host the 50th Annual ACM Awards. Together, the two are nominated in six categories. Will the 2014 CMA Entertainer of the Year also take the category at the ACM’s? It’s possible. But we’re more interested in that archery trophy.

Join the conversation on social media and watch the #ACMCabelas Great Outdoor Archery Event live on Saturday, April 18. Will it be #TeamLuke or #TeamJustin for the win? Either way, this archery throw down is right on target.
