Sure, you can watch wildlings shoot archery on “Game of Thrones” for a few more bloody episodes, but what if you need crossbow action? Until Daryl re-emerges in September to ward off zombies, check out these TV and movie crossbow users, and use the next few months to catch up on scenes you might have missed.

Faith Lehane, “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” and “Angel”

Played by real-life bowhunter Eliza Dushku, slayer Faith Lehane fought evil and wreaked havoc in “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” and spin-off series, “Angel.”

Gale Hawthorne, “Mockingjay Part 1”

His hunting partner, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), has inspired a new generation of archers to pick up the sport, but Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth) carries a crossbow while filming “Mockingjay Part 1.” Enjoy this still photo until the feature film opens in U.S. theaters Nov. 21.
